On Saturday, May 16th, the food pantry opened, and with the support of our faithful volunteers, nearly 500 families were blessed with food and other supplies during a most difficult time.
The volunteers, wearing gloves and masks, served faithfully, and were both loving and encouraging to all the folks who arrived for the food distribution. The recipients were also very cooperative, following social distancing guidelines and showing their gratitude for the food that was provided.
The Food Pantry will reopen on June 6th, and is opened every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. The leadership at Woodcliff Community Reformed Church is investigating the possibility of expanding the food pantry ministry to be opened more frequently. VOLUNTEERS ARE VERY MUCH NEEDED.
